In an effort to improve the quality of graduates and ensure the suitability of the curriculum to the demands of the world of work, SMK Negeri 1 Semparuk is holding In-House Training (IHT) activities. IHT with the theme of work culture departs from aligning the curriculum with the business and industrial world.

This IHT activity was attended by all teaching and education staff at SMK Negeri 1 Semparuk. In this case, the invited speakers came from the Horizon Ultima Singkawang Hotel. This activity aims to discuss important aspects, especially in the world of hospitality, such as appearance, discipline and service to customers. Apart from that, it was also conveyed about developments in the world of work and the profile of graduates expected by industry.

It is hoped that IHT activities, especially regarding work culture, can provide motivation and inspiration to teachers and students, especially students in the Hospitality Department, to prepare themselves as best as possible to face the world of work, especially in the hotel industry which demands professionalism, discipline and optimal service to customers.
